国际公共财政研究会博士生院2014年度会议

The IIPF is instituting a new week-long School for current and recent doctoral students. The aim of the School is to provide a forum in which new researchers can meet to learn about and discuss issues at the forefront of academic research in specific fields of public finance. Each School will be convened by leading and experienced researchers in the relevant field. New researchers will also have the opportunity to present their own research and receive constructive feedback. 

The first School will take place in September 2014 in Oxford, UK. The topic will be International Corporate Taxation and the convenors of the School will be
Michael P. Devereux, Director, Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation and IIPF President; and
Michael Keen, Deputy Director, Fiscal Affairs Department, International Monetary Fund, and past IIPF President.

Presentations and discussion will cover several theoretical and empirical aspects of business taxation, including: the effects of tax on business decisions such as investment, finance, and the location of real activity and profit; international aspects of corporation tax; tax competition; the incidence of tax; the measurement and relevance of the elasticity of corporate taxable income; and the optimal design of corporation tax in a domestic and international setting.
