第68次国际公共财政学会会议

We cordially invite you to participate in the 68th Annual Conference of the International Institute of Public Finance (IIPF 2012) to be held in Dresden, Germany on August 16-19, 2012.

Dresden - also known as the 'Florence of the North' - has a history of more than 800 years. The city is famous for its splendid arts collections, baroque architecture and exciting cultural life. More than 9.5 million visitors come to Dresden each year. The conference is hosted by the Technische Universitiy Dresden (TU Dresden), which was founded in 1828. The campus with its partly historic and partly modern buildings is located close to downtown Dresden.

The 2012 congress will focus on Public Finance, Public Debt and Global Recovery. A series of plenary lectures will deliver new insights into questions of sovereign debt and state default from a public finance perspective. In the parallel sessions, papers from all areas of public finance will be presented. The scientific committee for this congress - chaired by Jack Mintz (Palmer Chair in Public Policy, University of Calgary) and Michael Smart (University of Toronto) - will set up an exciting scholarly program.
