朱建平，男，汉族，1962年出生。2003年获南开大学理学博士学位。2001年破格晋升为教授。现任厦门
大学经济学院教授、博士生导师，并任计划统计系副主任。主要研究方向是：应用数理统计、数据挖掘
和应用计量经济学。先后主持和参加国家自然基金项目、国家社科基金项目、国家统计局重点项目、国
防科工委科技工业软科学研究项目等10多项，发表学术论文60余篇，独立完成《世纪之交中国统计学科
的回顾与思考》和《数据挖掘中的统计方法及其实践》学术专著，多项成果获省部级以上奖励。1996年被评为省级中青年骨干教师，2004年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。

Male, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, Vice-Dean of Department of Planning and
Statistic, graduated from Nankai University in 2003, where he achieved his Doctoral
degree of science. Early in 2001, he made exceptional Professor. Zhu specializes in
applied mathematical statistic, data mining and application of econometrics. He has
presided or taken part in over 10 scientific research items on the national and
ministerial level, accomplished individual academic work The Retrospection and Thinking
of Statistic Fields of China in the New Century and The Statistical Method and Practice of Data Mining, and published more than 60 academic
papers, many of which were awarded by nation and province.
